Huawei unveils its new MateBook D14 laptop in South Africa

Huawei South Africa has announced the launch of Huawei MateBook D14. The device features the new 11th Gen Intel Core Processor which delivers a significant boost to performance.

The laptop has also been upgraded with the new Intel Iris Xe Graphics which allows it to handle a wide variety of complex image processing tasks with ease.

Other features on the Huawei MateBook D14 include super device, fingerprint power button, dual antenna Wi-Fi 6, reverse charging capabilities for smartphones and a high-capacity battery to ensure long-lasting battery life.

Available in two colourways: classic and understated space grey or elegant and sophisticated mystic silver, the laptop weighs just 1.38kg and measuring only 15.9mm at its thickest point, making it is easy to carry wherever you go. 

The 180-degree hinge on Huawei MateBook D14 allows for multiple users to share the display in a workplace scenario.

MateBook D14 also features a 14-inch 1080p Full HD IPS anti-glare screen, retaining the fullview design of its predecessors, with a screen-to-body ratio of 84 percent and a 16:9 aspect ratio.

For storage space, the notebook offers up to 16GB memory.

The laptop can also seamlessly collaborate with other Huawei products, including phones, tablets, monitors. Documents and images can be transferred between devices with a simple drag and drop.

The Huawei MateBook D14 is available for R14,499 on the Huawei Online Store and pricing may differ slightly in other retail stores.
